My name is Gunnar Droescher

Based in Berlin, Gunnar is currently working at Rolls-Royce as a Vice President Customer Programmes in the business aviation unit. In this role, he is looking after profitability and strategy definition for the account, working with the customer and cross functional team to enhance value for RR.
Prior to this role, he has been the supply chain executive for new product introduction in the business aviation segment, responsible for sourcing, product cost, delivery and industrialisation of engine components. Over the last 13 years, he has worked in aerospace and consulting, in roles that provide interfaces between engineering and supply chain functions, leading global teams of senior managers. Gunnar is a certified project manager (PMP) and holds bachelor´s degrees in International Business (Milwaukee School of Engineering) and Industrial Engineering (Lübeck University of Applied Sciences) as well as an Executive MBA (University of Cambridge).
He has published his article “Supply Chain Strategies for large complex product developments” in the International Journal of Procurement Management, a peer reviewed academic journal.
Gunnar remains close to Cambridge Judge Business School through teaching a supply chain case study in the Executive MBA programme he co-authored. Furthermore, he continues to be engaged with faculty on research related to supply chain and the circular economy.
